Installation

To get started with the ARChaotic Engine, you'll need to download and install the ARChaotic Hub, which manages engine versions and your projects.

System Requirements

Before you begin, please ensure your system meets the following minimum requirements:

• OS: Windows 10/11 (64-bit)
• Processor: Quad-core processor, 3.0 GHz or faster
• Memory: 16 GB RAM
• Graphics: DirectX 12 compatible GPU with 6 GB VRAM (NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 or equivalent)
• Storage: 50 GB available space on an SSD

Installation Steps

1. Navigate to the Download page and download the ARChaotic Hub installer.
2. Run the downloaded installer executable. You may receive a security warning from your operating system; please allow the application to run.
3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation of the Hub.
4. Once installed, launch the ARChaotic Hub.
5. From the 'Engine Versions' tab in the Hub, click 'Install' to download and install the latest alpha version of the engine.

Warning: As an alpha product, the engine may contain bugs or be unstable. We strongly recommend backing up your projects frequently. If you encounter any issues, please report them on our community discord.
